WAREHOUSE SALE KEMBALI!

Sabtu lepas (8/5/2010) aku, Aedy & Fared mengganas lagi kat Hasbro Warehouse sale, haha. Kali ni kami ada tag team baru, Rizal & Abang Kamal. Welcome aboard bros. :D Yang best pasal sale tahun ni.. tak ramai sangat orang compared to last year. Crowd pun tak ganas, haha. Yang tak best plak.. barang tak banyak sangat. Sebagai salah sorang "kaki pecah" warehouse, aku rasa tahun ni la barang paling kurang. Actually aku target a few item only for own collection. GI Joe ROC Steel Crusher, Baroness & Indiana Jones with horse. Tapi agak kecewa pasal Steel Crusher takda. :( On the bright side, aku dapat GI Joe ROC Mantis Attack Craft which is the bomb! And i bought 2, hehe. Will review it later. Anyway, big thank you to Masrul (Ketua Kampung Pisang) for the intel & inside job.. also Fared, Aedy & Abang Kamal (tag team with Aedy on Sunday since i can't make it there on time) pasal tolong support aku dari segi financial. Damn Hasbro buat sale time aku pokai, haha. Ok, lets check out the haul. :D

KICK-ASS.

Dah lama sangat aku tak rasa seronok tengok wayang. Tapi semalam memang puas hati.. walaupun tengok sorang. Hilang segala tension kat opis, haha. Kick-Ass totally rocks! This is the definitive geek movie, 'nuff said. I really feel the adrenaline rush through out the movie. Maybe korang dah sibuk cakap pasal Iron Man 2 (IM2) hari ni, but i'm still in Kick-Ass mood. Hehe. To tell the truth, i rather go for another show of Kick-Ass then IM2. Don't get me wrong. I've been a fan of IM way before those posers from IM 1st movie, haha. No offense ya. But it's my "nature" to go for not-so-famous-less-hype movie 1st. I'm not gonna review the movie here. Sorry for that. This is because i really, really think you should go watch the movie. Be it you're a fanboy, an action movie lover or just another movie goer who watch everything without knowing anything.. you gonna love this movie. And i guarantee that, 200%. Now go get yourself a ticket, haha. :D

TOO TIRED TO DIE.

This is not a movie review. But i just use the title of the movie (Too Tired To Die) as my entry's title. Very good movie directed by a Korean director. Staring Mira Sorvino (hot!) & Takeshi Kaneshiro. It's about Kenji (Takeshi) who's been told by Death (Mira) that he has only 24 hours to live. What would you do? Go watch the movie then, hehe. :P





Lunch hour tadi aku pi Alamanda. Just a quick drive to get my ticket for Kick-Ass tonight. Going to movie alone again huh? Hmm.. don't care, don't wanna care. Pas balik dari Alamanda aku lepak kat cubicle. It's been 2 months that i just tapau & have my lunch at my cubicle. Dah malas nak kuar makan dengan orang. Layan sorang2 lagi best, haha.

Then suddenly i heard someone yelling. It's that f**king annoying betina again. Damn! Memang dah lama aku angin kat dia ni. Pure psycho bitch from hell. Jenis tak reti nak panggil orang pelan2. Dah tau orang dok jauh, pi la kat tempat dia. Buat apa terjerit2 sampai orang lain sakit telinga dengar. Bukan sekali dua, tapi tiap masa tiap hari. Korang bayangkan.. dia (Cik M) dok kat ujung Timur, orang yang nak dipanggil (Cik S) dok ujung Barat. Kat tengah plak ada lebih dari 10 cubicle. Tiap kali nak panggil dia jerit.. "Cik S! Cik S! Cik S!". Sampai tahap sambil tengah taip, makan & amik fail kat bawah meja pun bleh jerit lagi. Macam mana la orang yang dok jauh nak dengar. Akibatnya orang in the middle (tetiba teringat cerita Malcolm In The Middle) la yang kena tahan telinga. Cik S bleh ja kalu nak panggil datang dekat atau terus pi tempat dia. Takyah jerit2 pun. Apsal dia takleh?

Masa dia jerit tadi aku perli skit. Aku panggil orang sebelah mintak kapas. Dia dengar & dok perli aku balik kata nak pasang speaker la, nak pakai headphone la.. tah apa2 lagi. Damn! Saja bikin panas. Takan aku nak gaduh ngan pompuan kot? Gila la. Aku dok diam sambil layan internet tapi kat dalam ni suhu dah tahap gunung berapi meletup. Budak sebelah dah sengih2 tengok aku. Pastu Cik M diam & pi lepak kat ujung Barat. Ngumpat aku la tu. Lantak la.

Sometimes i really tired living around people like this. Dead tired. Don't they care about other people feeling when they do things like that? Do they even noticed what they did? Hmm.. sick sad world. And i'm living in it. "I am.. in a world.. of shit" - quote from Full Metal Jacket movie. Guess i really need a holiday. It's been 4 months since my last leave. No MC, no EL.. just work, work & work. Aku nak balik kampung ah. Miss my mom's cooking.. miss looking at dad who's still busy walaupun dah pencen.. miss loking at my cat terrorizing other cats at our backyard.. i miss everything at kampung!

Can't wait for this June. Will apply 5 days leave & balik kampung, hehe. Who dare not approve my leave or i will turn this puny little office upside down, muahahaha! Hmm.. it's 430 pm now & the phone keep on ringing here & there. What a hectic day. Can't wait to go back & looking forward to enjoy my movie tonight. Adios!

HOODIE FROM ACI TOYS.. BERT, ERNIE, GROVER & KERMIT TOO. :D

Picked up my 1/6th stuff yesterday.. hoodie, sunglasses & drop leg magazines pouch. Bought 'em at V-Storebiz (recommended 1/6th seller). My highlight this time is the supercool hoodie from Aci Toys (came in 3 colors.. black, white & grey). Not familiar with the company but they did a really great job on the hoodie. The cloth is soft and nicely knitted. Check it out.

UMBRELLA SPECIAL FORCE UNIT (USFU) - MY VERSION.

This is my 1st kitbash that i shared here. Still work in progress. Inspired by Resident Evil (both video games & movies), 28 Days Later, Dawn of The Dead & other this-is-the-end-of-the-world movies & lots kitbashes that i found online. I always love the post apocalyptic & zombie infested world theme. Mankind is so out of hope, haha. :P And of course, as a fan of RE i always wanted to kitbash the USFU. But still looking for some parts. Anyway, lets check out my 1st survivor.










Still haven't got a name for him yet. Will do a background story later. Need to do more research, hehe.

I want to add/change some parts for him. Thinking of changing the black boots to tan, get a backpack & dropleg utility pouch.

NAVY SEAL CQB VERSION 2 FROM VERY HOT.

Black is back (again?). I guess it's a trend now. Every single 1/6 company out there wanna do their own Black Ops action figure. Here we got the latest release from VH. The 2nd version from their previous release of Navy SEAL CQB: New Edition. Hmm.. looks like a crossover between SS DEVGRU Gold Team & CIA SAD Night Ops Version 2, hehe. Lets check it out.

Definitely will change to lace boots if i buy this one (read: IF :P).

SCAR with grenade launcher.. nice. The MP5 also looks tempting.

From my previous experience with VH products, they're not all bad actually. Yup, they do used cheap plastics. The clips & some small parts are fragile. Weapons are so-so (i prefer SS nowadays). But the clothes are good. Well, thats what you get for actually-not-that-cheap-stuff. Good for kit-bashing though. And if you swap 1 or 2 parts here & there, they sure turn out great.

SESAME STREET MINI BEAN PALS WALL POCKETS.

Dah dapat, yay! :D Akhirnya pencarian aku berakhir hari Ahad lepas (11/4/2010). Actually 2 weeks ago aku dah deal ngan sorang auntie yang jual fastfood toys kat Amcorp. Dia ada 1 Wall Pockets extra tapi kotor skit. So aku suruh dia bawak. Kalu ok aku amik terus. It turned out the Wall Pockets is in good condition. Ada kotor skit ja cam ink drop kat 1 pocket & tali untuk gantung cam dah putus tapi di ikat semula. Other than that, it looks fine. Sold to me for RM27. Very happy! :)

Actually ni adalah Wall Pockets versi Singapore (auntie tu pun kata dia beli kat Singapore). Tag McDonalds kat tepi tahun 1999. Kalu versi Malaysia tahun 2000. Lagi pun kedudukan Mini Bean Pals tak sama. Contoh: Pocket no. 2 versi Singapore ialah Baby Bear, tapi versi Malaysia ialah Big Bird. Takda hal la. As long as aku bleh isi suma Mini Bean Pals aku yang still sealed in baggie, hehe (sila rujuk di sini untuk entry Mini Bean Pals).

JACK SKELLINGTON FROM REVOLTECH.

Aku tak pernah beli anything from Revoltech lagi. Rasanya Jack akan jadi my 1st. Ni adalah siri baru Revoltech iaitu Sci-Fi Revoltech. Dulu ingat nak beli Alien (figure 001). Tapi bila pikir2 balik.. i already in love with all my Aliens from McFarlane Toys. They're the best. So i skip. Selamat duit, haha. Yang buat aku teruja pasal Jack (figure 005) ni ialah interchangeable heads. Ada 4. Lain2 expression tu. Base pun menarik gak. And of course the super articulations. Nampak agak fragile pasal Jack ni kurus. Tapi aku tak berani nak judge pasal tak tau tahap kekuatan plastic Revoltech. So harap2 ok la. And i really, really hope that there will be Sally later. ;)

XL dah buat pre-order. Retail price is RM118 & coming out this June. Jom order! :D

PREDATORS - THE NEW MOVIE.

Kalu tak salah, aku dengar pasal filem ni ujung tahun 2008/awal tahun 2009. Memang excited abis pasal Robert Rodriguez akan guna semula skrip dia yang kena reject dulu. Sure ganas gila nanti, haha. Actually dia dah approach 20th Century Fox tahun 2004 lagi. Tapi skang skrip tu dah tak sia2. Cuma yang aku kureng skit ialah.. director filem ni, Nimrod Antal. Aku ingat Robert yang nak direct tapi dia cuma sebagai producer & penulis skrip ja. Filem Nimrod yang aku penah tengok ialah Vacancy. Tu pun tak abih pasal tertidur dalam panggung, haha. Hmm.. harap kali ni kehebatan Predator dapat dikembalikan. At least bleh cover balik filem AVP:R yang teruk tu.

Cerita kali ni mengenai sekumpulan manusia yang diculik dan ditinggalkan di sebuah planet asing. Diorang jadi cam binatang buruan la. Nah amik. Kat bumi korang memburu/bunuh binatang sana sini sesuka hati. Now it's pay back time, haha( activist mode :P ). Pelakon2 ok gak. Antaranya Adrien Brody (The Piano), Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix trilogy), Danny Trejo (Desperado) & Walton Goggins (The Sheild). Kali ni ada makhluk lain selain dari Predator yang memburu diorang. Sidekick? Diorang ni saja cari pasal ka apa tah la. Predator bleh stand alone. Tambah makhluk lain takut nanti menggangu jalan cerita ja. Apa2 pun kita tunggu bulan 7 ni. Bring back the violent & gory in Predator! Haha. :D

Kali ni gak aku berharap sangat McFarlane Toys amik balik lesen Predator. Aku rasa HT masih ada lagi lesen diorang. Neca pun. Tapi Neca punya Predator memang teruk. Sloppy paint job, kurang detail, articulation tak banyak.. memang teruk la. Dulu pun aku beli AVP:R series 1 ja. Pastu memang dah tak lalu nak tengok. Yang ok pun Alien pasal ada additional articulations. Tapi McFarlane still the best. They produced the best-of-the-best-sir 7 inch scale Predator & Alien from Movie Maniacs series. 'Nuff said. Cuma AVP series ja kureng skit pasal masa tu Mcfarlane dah mula ada problem. Tapi Movie Maniacs tetap terbaik sampai skang. :D Ok, jom layan trailer.
